Speecys Corp. is a Japanese robotics company founded in 2001 by Tomoaki Kasuga, a former Sony engineer who worked on the AIBO robot dog. The company specializes in developing small humanoid robots for research and consumer applications. Speecys produced the SPC-001, one of Japan's early research humanoids, and the Speecys-FC, the world's first fuel-cell powered humanoid robot.
