Sevnce Robot Co., Ltd. (Sevnce Robotics) was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Liangjiang New District, Chongqing, China. The company has established itself as the dominant player in China's industrial inspection robot sector for hazardous and extreme environments, holding over 95% domestic market share in explosion-proof inspection robots. Sevnce is designated as a national-level 'Specialized, Sophisticated, and Innovative' (Little Giant) enterprise and holds more than 160 patents.
The core product portfolio consists of explosion-proof robotic systems engineered for flammable, explosive, high-temperature, low-temperature, and corrosive industrial settings. Key products include the explosion-proof wheeled inspection robot (standard and high-performance versions), the world's first mass-producible explosion-proof quadruped robot, explosion-proof rail-mounted inspection systems, and explosion-proof tracked robots. The quadruped platform features a titanium/aluminum alloy body structure, proprietary electro-hydrostatic actuators with 70% transmission efficiency, 3D LiDAR, depth cameras, IMU orientation systems, IP66 protection, 30 kg payload capacity, and over 500 onboard AI algorithms enabling autonomous reconnaissance, inspection, material transport, and emergency response.
Specifications include dimensions of approximately 1150×600×800 mm, weight under 100 kg, walking speed up to 1 m/s, obstacle clearance of 200 mm steps and 30-degree slopes, and wading depth of 300 mm. Rail-mounted and wheeled robots are widely deployed in petrochemical plants, LNG facilities, power stations, mines, and ports. International presence includes deployments in Qatar and Saudi Arabia and a signed MOU with BASF to jointly advance the intelligent transformation of the chemical industry.
Sevnce is a member of SPRINT Robotics and has long-term partnerships with Sinopec, PetroChina, CNOOC, and Sinochem.
