Company Overview

Seoul Dynamics Inc. is a South Korean developer of heavy-duty autonomous mobile robots, founded in July 2022 and headquartered at the Seongnam Global Convergence Center in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, with further sites in Pangyo and Magok (Seoul). The company describes its work as physical AI robotics for heavy-duty tasks: robots trained from real-world operation that move payloads from 2 to more than 30 tonnes and combine teleoperation, autonomy and fleet orchestration. It develops software, physical AI, powertrain, sensor fusion, structure and industrial design in-house, and runs its robots on Pangaea OS, a robot operating system it built itself.

RAPTOR LIFT. The main production model (confirmed model name RAPTOR Lift 2T-01) is a riderless autonomous forklift. One common autonomous base, fleet interface and safety platform is paired with site-specific outer masts that Seoul Dynamics designs for each load; the company cites cable bobbins in wire and cable plants, foundry ingots on casting lines and pallets in yards and warehouses. Published figures: 1,500 to 2,000 kg payload depending on mast and load centre, lift height up to 3,100 mm with a bespoke mast, a 3,000 kg dual-motor vehicle with independent steering and zero-turn capability, 2.2 m/s maximum speed, a positioning target of plus or minus 10 mm, a 72 V 18 kWh LFP battery with 2.5 h charging, IP54 protection and an operating range of -10 to +45 degrees C. In field testing it climbed a 10.2 degree grade with 1,500 kg raised, crossed 80 mm floor discontinuities and ran up to 24 hours on a full charge under the tested duty cycle. Perception uses two solid-state LiDARs, one 360-degree LiDAR and six cameras with natural-feature SLAM. The planned launch price is USD 140,000. An operations console streams a digital-twin pose with fork lift and tilt, surround person alerts, vision-language-model free-space ranking, fused stereo views, an obstacle grid, GPS position and the API log for both teleoperated and autonomous missions. Pallet approach, lift sequencing and trailer transfer are trained with reinforcement-learning policies in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and with operator teleoperation data before transfer to the production robot.

TYRANNO. A second, heavier family groups a prime platform, a forklift module (TYRANNO FORKLIFT) and an undisclosed blaster module on one high-load base. Published targets are a 400 kW heavy-duty base, 10 to 15 tonnes payload (trailer type), 25 km/h and 20 hours of field operation; the TYRANNO FORKLIFT full option is priced at USD 128,000. A 2025 trade-press report on the company's heavy-payload industrial AMR, shown at NEXT RISE 2025, described a standard platform planned in four sizes with work modules and up to 30 tonnes capacity for shipbuilding, construction and logistics, then at proof-of-concept stage.

Software. The productised VectorDrive autonomous-driving solution uses a physics-inspired vector-field planner for collision-free paths, with real-time dynamic path planning, multi-sensor fusion and adaptive mapping, quoted at 198 TOPS of compute and 30 ms decision latency.

Construction and industrial programmes. The company history lists a 2022 delivery contract for a logistics transport robot at a Pyeongtaek industrial complex, a 2023 proof of concept for fab equipment transfer robots in Icheon, a July 2024 proof of concept with a major Korean engineering and construction firm for robots carrying heavy construction materials, selection by Hyundai Engineering & Construction for its 2024 open-innovation programme, and participation in Samsung C&T's 2025 demonstration of construction robots at a Raemian housing site. It joined NVIDIA Inception (2023), signed circuit-development NDAs with Texas Instruments, Bosch and Luminar (2024), won iF Design Awards in 2022 and 2024, and was selected for Deep-Tech TIPS (2024) and the Super Gap Startup 1000+ project. It raised seed (2022), bridge (2023) and two Pre-A rounds (2023, 2024), and a Korean startup database records a Series A in July 2026 with GNTech Venture Capital among the investors. The team numbered 14 in August 2026 and is led by CEO Geosong Lee.
