Robotiq is a collaborative-robot tooling and workcell company headquartered in Levis, Quebec, Canada, with a European office in Vaulx-en-Velin near Lyon, France. It builds components, software and production-ready workcells that let manufacturers automate manual tasks on cobot arms without custom engineering.
The component line centers on electric adaptive grippers. The Hand-E parallel gripper offers a 50 mm or 100 mm stroke, 7 kg payload, 20 to 185 N grip force, 0.025 mm repeatability, IP67 sealing and a 5,000,000-cycle warranty; the 2F-85 and 2F-140 two-finger grippers provide 85 mm and 140 mm strokes with 5 kg and 2.5 kg payloads; the Hand-E C10 concentric gripper handles 10 kg with a 40 mm diameter stroke. All run on 24 V from the robot wrist with control of position, speed, force and object detection, and mount on Universal Robots, Omron, Aubo, Doosan, Fanuc CRX, Hanwha, Techman and Yaskawa cobots. Robotiq also sells vacuum grippers, the FT 300 force-torque sensor with Force Copilot software, a wrist camera, tactile fingertips and a sanding kit. Workcells cover palletizing, machine tending and screwdriving, supported by the IQ Platform and Contact Core software.
