Shanghai robot rental platform incubated by AgiBot (52% stake) that rents humanoids and robot dogs from several brands through a WeChat mini program.
Qingtian Zu is a robot rental and robot-as-a-service platform based in Shanghai. It was launched on 22 December 2025 at the National Robot Rental Ecosystem Summit in Shanghai and was presented by AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics) and by Shanghai's municipal government as China's first open, nationwide robot leasing platform. Chinese business media describe Qingtian Zu as the first company incubated by AgiBot, which holds a 52% stake. Its chairman and legal representative is Jiang Qingsong, an AgiBot partner and president of AgiBot's marketing services business, and its chief executive is Li Yiyan, founder of Feikuo Technology. In February 2026 the company added Li Liheng, a former Alibaba channel-building executive, as co-president and Wang Mingfeng, a former Alibaba strategy executive, as chief strategy officer; Chen Yanxia, formerly a vice president at Ele.me, is also on the management team.
The platform is accessed through a WeChat mini program. Customers can rent individual robots or book scene packages that bundle hardware with content programming, an on-site operator, logistics and after-sales support. At launch, individual rentals ranged from about RMB 200 to more than RMB 10,000 and scene packages from RMB 2,199 to RMB 16,900. Listed hardware at launch was mainly AgiBot's humanoid range, such as the Lingxi X2 and Yuanzheng A2, together with AheadForm's F1 lite desktop bionic humanoid; robots from Unitree and Accelerated Evolution were added later. The Shanghai government quoted indicative daily prices of about RMB 3,000 for a basic humanoid, RMB 5,000 for a dancing humanoid and RMB 1,500 for a robot dog.
Rentals are fulfilled through a network of local service providers. At launch the platform said it covered 50 core cities with more than 600 providers on board, and set 2026 targets of more than 10 robot manufacturers, 200 gold-tier rental providers, 3,000 content creators and 400,000 rental customers. The company reported more than 200,000 registered users within three weeks of launch and more than 200 rental orders a day. Early commercial partners named in press coverage include the hotpot chain Haidilao, convenience store operator Meiyijia, Shanghai's Yuyuan Garden and the MIXUE Ice Cream and Tea chain, mostly for events, promotions and in-store entertainment. By May 2026 the platform said it could dispatch more than 4,000 robots.
Qingtian Zu has raised capital quickly despite being majority-owned by AgiBot. A seed round announced in January 2026 was led by GL Ventures with Fosun Rong Capital, Muha Sci-Tech Innovation, Dafeng Fund and an embodied-intelligence affiliate of Zhangjiang Group. In May 2026 it announced completion of Series A and A+ rounds totalling several hundred million yuan, at a reported valuation of RMB 7 billion, making it four financing rounds in about six months. The company said the new money would fund its RaaS system, including a partner SaaS, a global app, intelligent dispatch and a robot skills store, and an expansion from event and retail use into industrial manufacturing, park operations, warehousing and logistics, and commercial services. Management has said the platform intends to raise funds and list independently of AgiBot.
For the directory Qingtian Zu sits in the channel and services layer of the humanoid supply chain: it does not build robots, but aggregates hardware from several manufacturers, content and operators into short-term rental and service packages.
