PL-Universe Robotics Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is a Chinese embodied artificial intelligence company founded in January 2025 and headquartered in Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu province. Founder and chief operating officer Ge Jin and co-founder and chief technology officer Wu Chaoxin lead a team drawn from companies including Tesla, Huawei and iFLYTEK as well as Tsinghua University.
The company's flagship product is the ProWhite series, an industrial-grade wheeled embodied robot built around four modular, self-developed end effectors for locking, dispensing, oiling and soldering tasks, combined with high-precision control and real-time visual positioning. Alongside it, PL-Universe develops PL-WitHand, a hybrid-driven dexterous hand using a tendon-linkage transmission design that achieves 20 degrees of freedom, controlled by the company's own ProxiGrasp grasping algorithm. The company describes an SDPAA architecture intended to adapt its robots across different factory scenarios without re-engineering hardware for each task.
PL-Universe's customers are concentrated in 3C electronics and automotive manufacturing. In November 2025 the company named JD.com its exclusive global online sales partner to support the ProWhite Robot 2.0 launch and overseas expansion, and it presented its industrial embodied-AI systems at Hannover Messe 2026.
