Paslin is a robotics integrator serving the automotive industry, headquartered at 25303 Ryan Road in Warren, Michigan. The Pasque family founded the company in 1937. Tower Three Partners owned Paslin from 2013 until March 2016, when it sold the company to Zhejiang Wanfeng Technology Development Co., part of China's Wanfeng Auto Holding Group; the financial terms of that sale were not disclosed.
Paslin designs, builds and integrates automated assembly and welding systems for vehicle manufacturing, covering resistance welding lines, MIG welding lines, multi-fastening equipment, robotic material handling, machine vision, and laser processing. Customers include Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Honda, Tesla, Rivian, Freightliner, and tier-one suppliers Magna and Martinrea. Beyond automotive body assembly, the company has applied its automation systems to warehouse handling and catalytic-converter production.
At the time of the 2016 ownership change, Paslin employed about 700 people across three Warren, Michigan facilities totaling more than 750,000 square feet, plus a 166,000-square-foot plant in Shelby Township, Michigan opened during the 2013-2016 Tower Three Partners period.
