miRobot Ltd.
Israeli agritech startup developing add-on robotic systems that automate the complete milking procedure in conventional parlors without new infrastructure.
miRobot Ltd. is an Israeli agricultural robotics company headquartered in Kiryat Tivon, Israel, specializing in robotic dairy milking automation. Founded by Dr. Tal Bareket, an expert in 3D image processing, the company developed an add-on robotic system that automates the full milking procedure — including pre- and post-milking routines — within conventional milking parlors without requiring replacement of existing infrastructure, management systems, or operational workflows. The miRobot system allows a single supervisor to oversee an entire milking parlor while robots handle multiple stalls simultaneously.
Key claimed benefits include reduced labor costs, shorter milking sessions, increased parlor throughput, and improved milk quality and cow health outcomes. The company received seed funding of approximately $3 million in December 2011. miRobot is listed on the Israel Agri-Tech index and the Startup Nation Central database as an active Israeli agritech startup.
