Hunan Meihu Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd., formerly Hunan Oil Pump Co., Ltd., is a Chinese maker of powertrain pumps, motors and control components. It is based at No. 69 Hengyue North Road, Chengguan Town, Hengdong County, in Hengyang, Hunan. The company traces its origins to 1949, was restructured into a joint-stock company in 1994 and listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on 30 November 2016 under the code 603319. Exchange data list about 3,612 employees. It has 11 wholly owned or controlled subsidiaries and 7 associated companies, and it describes itself as vice-president unit of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, a national standard-setting unit and the holder of a national-level enterprise technology centre.
The core products are engine oil pumps for commercial and passenger vehicles, transmission hydraulic pumps, cooling water pumps and modules, fuel transfer pumps, electronic pumps and transmission valve plates. Subsidiaries add gears, reducers, solenoid valves, electric vacuum pumps, automatic-transmission valve bodies and housings, and aluminium die castings such as housings for new-energy motors, controllers and air-conditioning compressors. They also build automated production lines for automotive parts.
Meihu has added a robotics line on top of its gear and reducer manufacturing. Its official product centre now has a precision harmonic reducer category with seven series: HCSG-I standard, HCSG-A self-aligning, HSHG shaft-input, HSHG integrated, HSHG self-aligning, HSHF hollow-shaft and HSHD. It also lists harmonic joint modules MXBS14 and MXBS20, and under a separate robot category a composite mobile robot for intelligent logistics handling. Specifications are not published online and are available by quotation request. In March 2025 the company signed a site agreement for the Meihu Zhizao Shenzhen Research Institute and Robotics Technology Centre. In April 2025 it agreed to buy a 1.25 percent stake in NUWA Robotics, a Taiwan-founded robot company in the Foxconn ecosystem. In June 2025 it signed a strategic cooperation agreement with NUWA covering application and volume supply of embodied-intelligence components, including harmonic reducers, joint modules, robotic arms, motors and precision gears, and their lightweighting. Brokerage research groups Meihu with the supply chain of quadruped and humanoid maker Unitree, but the company has not named robot customers or disclosed robot revenue.
