MagicLab (formally Magiclab Robotics Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., also known as Magic Atom) is a Chinese embodied intelligence and general-purpose robotics company founded in January 2024, headquartered in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. The company focuses on the R&D and commercialization of humanoid robots and embodied AI technology for industrial, commercial, and household applications.
MagicLab's flagship product is the MagicBot, China's first humanoid robot to achieve multi-robot collaboration in active factory deployment. The MagicBot features 42 degrees of freedom, a single-arm payload of 7.5 kg, total body static load capacity of 40 kg, and a continuous operation time of up to 5 hours. The robot is equipped with LiDAR, three fisheye cameras, and RGB-D cameras mounted on the head and waist for environmental perception. MagicLab was among the first companies in China to deploy a multi-cobot humanoid workforce in industrial production (December 2024), with MagicBots performing high-precision tasks including product inspection, material handling, parts picking and placing, scanning, and warehouse management with millimeter-level accuracy.
A secondary product is the MagicHand S01, a self-developed dexterous hand with 11 degrees of freedom and a payload capacity exceeding 20 kg, designed for complex manufacturing tasks. In December 2024, Magic Atom closed a 150 million yuan Angel round led by Zhui Chuang Venture Capital. In May 2025, MagicLab completed a further strategic financing round of hundreds of millions of yuan. The company has approximately 100 employees, over 80% in R&D roles, and claims operations across 50 countries with more than 60% of revenue from overseas markets. MagicLab also unveiled a proprietary World Model in Silicon Valley in April 2026. The company is headquartered at No. 98, Jianghai Road W, Liangxi District, Wuxi, Jiangsu 214045, China.
