Leju (Shenzhen) Robotics Co., Ltd., publicly known as Leju Robotics or Leju Robot, is a humanoid robot developer and manufacturer headquartered at Tongfang Kexing Science Park, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China, with additional branches in Harbin and Hangzhou. Founded in 2016 by Leng Xiaokun (legal representative), the company has received funding from Songhe Capital (angel), Shenzhen Capital Group (pre-A), Tencent (strategic investment), and most recently a RMB 1.5 billion pre-IPO round led by Greenwoods Asset Management in 2025, valuing the company at a scale consistent with an imminent domestic IPO. The company's flagship product is the KUAVO full-size humanoid robot (170 cm tall), unveiled in December 2023.
KUAVO features 14 degrees of freedom in its arms, 360 Nm torque joints, a walking speed of 4.6 km/h on varied terrain (sand, grass, factory floors), a 20 cm vertical jump, and an onboard AI system running KaihongOS (based on OpenHarmony) for autonomous perception and task planning. In 2025, Leju delivered its 100th full-size humanoid unit. The AELOS series targets K-12 and university education: compact desktop robots (30–40 cm, 17–22 DOF) supporting Scratch to C++ programming, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity, depth cameras, IMU sensors, and RoboCup competition use.
The PANDO series is a miniature panda-shaped coding toy for children. In March 2026, Leju announced a technology partnership with Schaeffler AG (Germany) for humanoid robotics joint development. Leju holds its core IP in torque servo design, self-stabilizing biped gait algorithms, and structural design of humanoid frames.
