Company Overview

Keecker was a Paris-based consumer robotics startup that designed and manufactured the Keecker HomePod, an autonomous wheeled home robot featuring a built-in LED projector capable of projecting up to a 78-inch image, a 360-degree Sony camera, and 3D depth sensor. Founded in 2012 by former Google engineer Pierre Lebeau, the company raised approximately one million dollars on Kickstarter in 2014, positioning the device as a home entertainment and telepresence platform with ambient environmental sensors. Despite early traction, Keecker was unable to secure follow-on investment and ultimately ceased operations.

The company is now permanently closed.
