The company reports a technical workforce of roughly 3,700 people, including close to 500 IC design engineers and more than 3,300 staff across chip processing, packaging and test, with over 400 holding doctoral or master's degrees. Its IPM and MCU product lines are used by manufacturers of motor drives, variable-frequency appliances and industrial control equipment, making Silan a component-level supplier into the actuation and power-electronics layer of automated machinery rather than a robot or system builder itself. The company has also continued expanding its silicon-carbide (SiC) power-device line, a segment increasingly used in electric-vehicle and renewable-energy power electronics, alongside its established silicon-based IGBT and MOSFET product families.
