Fabrica AI Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202105752C) was incorporated in Singapore on 17 February 2021. The company's first commercial product is an autonomous tile-grouting robot for the building finishing sector. The robot uses computer vision and the Robot Operating System (ROS) to detect grout lines in tiled surfaces, navigate around obstacles such as pipes and drain holes, and apply grout without human intervention after a single-button initialization. As of late 2025, the system had completed approximately 180,000 square feet of grouting across deployments in Singapore and Australia, with pilots underway in the United States. The company reports up to a 5x productivity improvement compared to manual grouting methods.
Beyond its grouting product, Fabrica AI is developing a robot design platform called Fabricator (fabricator.fabrica.ai). Fabricator allows engineering teams to specify functional requirements and generate over 1,000 robot design variants overnight through parametric design and simulation tools. Target application verticals for Fabricator include construction, warehousing, mining, and agriculture, addressing the bottleneck of slow hardware iteration in robotics product development.
Fabrica AI has raised approximately $2.4 million across three seed funding rounds. Investors include Hoxton Ventures, Credo Ventures, Aurum Investments, ffVC, and PIXEL (Singapore). The company is listed as a sponsoring organization for Singapore's Ministry of Education industry attachment program in the built environment sector, and has received support from SGInnovate, Singapore's deep-tech startup initiative.
