Company Overview

Delta Intelligence is a Beijing embodied-AI company developing foundation models that control the whole body of a humanoid robot, together with the head-mounted and handheld devices used to collect the human demonstration data those models are trained on. The operating company is Beijing Delta Intelligence Co., Ltd., with offices in the Dingsheng Building on Haidian Street in Haidian District, and it was founded in January 2026. Chief executive Xiaojian Ma and co-founders Hangxin Liu and Siyuan Huang are reported to hold doctorates from UCLA, and the founding team's earlier work spans Google, NVIDIA Research, DeepMind, Meta, Peking University and the Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence (BIGAI).

The company's model is Delta-0, unveiled on 28 September 2026 and described as a native humanoid foundation model for whole-body loco-manipulation, meaning that walking and two-handed manipulation are planned and executed by a single model. In the launch demonstration a humanoid executed 32 planned steps and completed nine household tasks in about 210 seconds of continuous operation. Delta describes a three-layer architecture in which a planning layer sits above a balance layer trained with reinforcement learning in simulation and a force-position hybrid layer that produces compliant control, plus a pipeline that retargets motion across different robot bodies. Parameter counts, benchmark results and licensing terms have not been published.

Its hardware is a data-capture line built on the Rockchip RK3588 processor. Delta D1, launched on 29 July 2026, is a head-mounted rig with a 220-degree 8 MP main camera recording 4K at 60 fps, two 160-degree side cameras and a fisheye-plus-IMU tracking module; it produces full-body skeleton, hand pose, spatial trajectory and 3D scene data with global positioning accuracy within 2 cm. D1-GRIPPER is a handheld variant that records end-effector trajectories for training manipulation policies. A sample dataset, OmniEgo, is published on Hugging Face, and an industrial dataset was released with the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) in July 2026.

Delta reports six funding rounds within its first seven months: more than RMB 700 million across three rounds by April 2026, followed by nearly RMB 500 million in an Angel++ round announced in July 2026. Reported backers include Hillhouse Capital, Fosun RZ Capital, Lenovo Capital, Meridian Capital and Yuanhe Holdings, alongside the humanoid makers AgiBot, Leju Robotics and Galaxea. Partnerships announced in 2026 cover Changan Tianshu Intelligent Robot for humanoid deployment in automotive manufacturing, Lightwheel Intelligence and Wuji Technology for whole-body data collection, and Unitree's Yuchuang programme for humanoid foundation models. D1 was exhibited at the 2026 World Robot Conference in Beijing.
