Beijing AIForce Technology Co., Ltd. (AIForceTech) is a Chinese developer of autonomous agricultural machinery headquartered in Haidian District, Beijing. The company began operating in 2019 and was incubated by the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Founder, chairman and CEO Han Wei holds a PhD from Tsinghua University with joint training at UC Berkeley, and Li Deyi, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, serves as chief scientist. AIForceTech develops its own perception, localisation, planning, decision and control software along with wheeled, high-clearance and tracked chassis. Its product families are: the Zhiniu series of L4 autonomous farm machines for tillage, planting, field management, harvesting and transport; the Voltor (Wantu) series of L4 electric tractors, including the large-horsepower Voltor 2604ET launched in October 2024; the Zhiyun series of unmanned retrofit kits that fit existing tractors, transplanters, sprayers, harvesters and cotton pickers without drilling and support dual manual/autonomous control; and the Zhinong series of robots for spraying and weed control, tracked transport over complex terrain, and greenhouse picking. The company states operating speeds of 8-10 km/h and more than 20 hours of daily operation.
By 2026 its systems had completed unmanned operations on more than one million mu (about 66,000 ha) in over 20 Chinese provinces. Deployments include unmanned farms with the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Beidahuang Group, Beijing Shounong Group and a rice farm in Yibin, Sichuan, as well as the National Precision Agriculture Demonstration Base in Beijing. In December 2024 it signed a cooperation agreement with Punjab, Pakistan, and it reports operations in Central Asia and Europe. Funding includes a Series B1 round of nearly RMB 100 million led by Xiamen Advanced No.1 Manufacturing Fund with Vertex Ventures, and a Series B2 round of several hundred million yuan announced in July 2026 from Anhui Chery Intelligent Technology, part of Chery Holding Group.
