Founded in 1991 by three engineers, ACE has grown from a small Delaware Valley start-up into a privately held company with more than 200 employees across nine offices, headquartered in Newark, Delaware, with regional offices in Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Texas. The company delivers operational-technology (OT) services spanning front-end engineering and design (FEED) studies, detailed design, implementation, commissioning, startup and ongoing system support.

Core service areas include automation and design (system design, PLC/HMI/SCADA, DCS, control-system modernization, safety instrumented systems and system validation), manufacturing execution systems and manufacturing operations management (MES/MOM) covering production performance analysis, track-and-trace, historian and reporting, and production scheduling.
