Agrointelli ApS is a Danish agricultural robotics company founded in 2015 and headquartered at Agro Food Park 13, Aarhus N, Denmark. The company designed and manufactured ROBOTTI, an autonomous agricultural tool carrier combining RTK-GNSS positioning (1–2 cm accuracy), six radar units, and a camera system for 24/7 driverless field operations. Powered by a Kubota diesel engine (approximately 72 hp) and weighing around 3,000 kg, ROBOTTI offers a lightweight footprint versus conventional tractors, reducing soil compaction.
It supports standard 3-point linkage and PTO, enabling compatibility with existing implements for operations such as seeding, weeding, harrowing, and spraying. Over 65 units were deployed in approximately 20 countries, accumulating more than 10,000 working hours. In 2022, Agrointelli raised €14.5 million to scale production.
Despite validated technology and an active order book, the company filed for bankruptcy on 27 February 2025 due to chronic liquidity shortfalls driven by high development costs and low production volumes. Assets including patents and software were sold individually. At peak the company employed approximately 20 people.
