Tesla is set to launch a long wheelbase version of its popular Model Y crossover in China, potentially as soon as the third quarter of this year. According to sources familiar with the situation, the new variant is expected to start at approximately RMB 400,000, equivalent to about $55,720. The announcement was confirmed by the US automaker earlier on Wednesday, signaling its commitment to expanding its offerings in the Chinese market, which has become increasingly competitive. This move aims to cater to the growing demand for electric vehicles in the region, as consumers seek more spacious options in the crossover segment.
