Wuxi PLC and servo maker (SSE: 603416) with RX-series SCARA and six-axis robots, now shipping frameless torque motors and encoders for humanoid joints.
Wuxi Xinje Electric Co., Ltd. is a Chinese industrial automation company founded in 2008 and headquartered at 816 Jianzhu West Road, Binhu District, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, with its production site in the Hudai Industrial Park, also in Binhu District. It converted to a joint-stock company in 2011 and listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange in December 2016 under code 603416. The company says it spends about 9% of annual revenue on R&D and describes its technology as covering the control, drive, actuation and sensing layers. Revenue was about RMB 2.01 billion in 2025 and RMB 1.10 billion in the first half of 2026.
Xinje's core products are programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, servo systems, inverters, stepper systems, industrial IoT gateways and cloud platform, machine vision and industrial robots. Its PLC range spans six families and more than 400 models, including the XD and XL small PLCs, the XG medium PLC, EtherCAT motion controllers, the XS PLCopen controller and the XSF blade PLC. Servo drives include the DS5 and DS6 series and the DL6 full-function direct-drive servo drive launched in 2025, and servo motors include the MS6 family in high, medium, low and ultra-low inertia versions, the MC7 series, the MF3 and MF5 low-voltage servo motors and drum servo motors. Industry rankings cited by the company and brokers put it first among domestic brands in China's small PLC market and among the leading Chinese brands in AC servos; a broker report estimates its second-quarter 2026 share at about 11.7% of small PLCs and 4.6% of AC servos. It was named a Jiangsu advanced-level smart factory in 2025 and holds a TUV SUD cooperative laboratory qualification.
In industrial robots Xinje makes manipulators, robot controllers and teach pendants. Its general-purpose robot catalogue covers payloads from 3 kg to 280 kg and includes the RX-4 and RX-3 series SCARA robots and the RX-3 series six-axis articulated robots, with robot software built on its TouchWin and Qt platforms and the RT-7 and RT-8 handheld teach pendants.
Since 2025 Xinje has developed core components for humanoid and embodied-intelligence robots. In November 2025 it signed a strategic partnership with Realman Intelligent Technology to develop and industrialise robot joint modules, with Xinje supplying customised motors, high-precision encoders and high-performance drivers. A Soochow Securities review of its 2026 interim results lists coreless (hollow-cup) motors, frameless torque motors, self-developed high-performance encoders including inductive encoders, and matching drive systems as its robot component lines, and reports that frameless torque motors are being supplied in volume to several leading industry customers from an automated production line. The embodied-intelligence segment generated about RMB 60 million of revenue in the first half of 2026, more than double the year before, and the company describes robotics as its second growth curve.
