Woerner Automatisierungstechnik GmbH is a German manufacturer of stopping and positioning components for conveyor and assembly lines, headquartered at Rechbergstrasse 50 in Denkendorf, Baden-Wurttemberg. The company's product line began with a pneumatically damped stopper module developed by founder Helmut Woerner in 1965; the business was registered in its current GmbH legal form in 2006 and states more than 50 years of manufacturing experience in the category.
The product range covers pneumatically and electromechanically driven damped stoppers and separating stops, roll stoppers, corner dampers, index cylinders, anti-bounce stops, acceleration units, and displacement stops, including an EL-Series of electromechanical stoppers that run without compressed air and a PN-Line of pneumatic stoppers. Woerner also builds custom stopping mechanisms and supplies spare parts for its installed base. The equipment is used on transfer systems in automotive assembly, electronics manufacturing, medical device production, and cleanroom environments, and new designs go through an internal endurance-testing program before release.
Woerner sells through a network of sales partners worldwide and operates a sales office in China and a subsidiary in the United States alongside its German manufacturing base.
