Weiss Robotics GmbH & Co. KG
"Smart grippers. Simply integrated."
Ludwigsburg, Germany gripper manufacturer founded 2008; its GRIPKIT servo-electric grippers reach 550 newtons of force and 20 million rated cycles.
Weiss Robotics GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed gripper manufacturer headquartered in Ludwigsburg, Germany, founded in 2008. The company designs and builds its mechatronic gripping systems at its Ludwigsburg site for assembly automation, electronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and food-industry applications.
Its GRIPKIT family packages servo-electric and pneumatic grippers as plug-and-play kits for collaborative robots, sized S, M, and L, with gripping forces from 10 to 550 newtons and a rated life of 20 million cycles; the GRIPKIT EASY variant reaches 200 newtons and 45 million rated cycles, with commissioning the company puts at about 20 minutes. The IEG PLUS servo-electric parallel grippers are built for cleanroom use, with the IEG PLUS 40-020 certified to ISO Class 4 and the IEG PLUS 260-080 to ISO Class 6 under Fraunhofer Institute testing to ISO 14644-1. The INTRAPAL gripper handles palletizing loads up to 60 kilograms, and the FINGERKIT system lets users machine gripper fingers from aerospace-grade aluminum. The GRIPLINK interface standardizes how the grippers connect into a robot cell; Weiss Robotics is a certified UR+ partner with GRIPKIT listed on the Universal Robots marketplace and sold through ABB's robotics accessory channel.
Weiss Robotics lists Kassow Robots among the cobot makers that integrate GRIPKIT EASY into their product line.
