Unimotion North America, Inc. is the North American subsidiary of the European UNIMOTION brand, incorporated in 2020 and headquartered at 38150 Airport Parkway, Unit 7, Willoughby, Ohio. UNIMOTION's product range covers precision linear motion components and complete motion system assemblies. The lineup includes mini linear units in ball-screw (MGBS series, sizes 32/45/60) and toothed-belt (MGTB) variants engineered for plug-and-play motor and drive integration; mid-range linear units with two parallel rail guides (CTV, ball screw) and single-rail configurations (MTV, ball screw; CTJ and MTJ, toothed belt; MRJ belt unit rated to 10 m/s); the MTJZ vertical Z-axis unit; and the CTL linear motor unit. The CTL features an ironless direct-drive linear motor, speeds up to 5 m/s, repeatability up to 0.001 mm, and support for both incremental and absolute measurement systems. The CTL series is ISO 3 and ISO 5 cleanroom certified and received the German Design Award 2022.
For electric actuation, the portfolio includes the PNCE precision electric cylinder—dimensionally compatible with ISO 15552 pneumatic cylinders to enable drop-in replacement—and the compact MCE mini electric cylinder and MSCE mini electric slider, both integrating precision ball screws for high mechanical efficiency and low friction. Customized multi-axis Cartesian gantry systems (2-axis and 3-axis) are assembled to customer specifications for pick-and-place, material handling, and robotic end-effector applications.
Key markets include semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical and medical device production, packaging automation, machine tool integration, and general industrial automation.
