Broomfield, Colorado maker of Remote ID drone detection receivers, from 1.3 oz handhelds to 18-antenna Nexus sites, with a cloud alerting service.
UAS Sentry LLC is a US company that designs and builds Remote ID drone detection equipment and the cloud service that goes with it. A trade directory lists its address in Broomfield, Colorado, and David Burritt is chief executive. The company states that firmware development and final assembly take place in the United States. It does not jam, take over or otherwise disable drones; its systems receive the Remote ID broadcasts that the FAA has required from most drones since September 2023. Those broadcasts carry the drone's serial number, position, altitude, heading and speed together with the location of its pilot.
The hardware comes in portable and fixed-site versions. Portable receivers include the Ultra-Portable (1.3 oz, 1.9-inch colour screen, 3-hour battery, sold in VLOS and BVLOS versions) and the Touchscreen BVLOS V3 and V4. The V4 has two receivers so it picks up Remote ID on both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, which covers drones such as Skydio and the DJI Avata 1 that transmit on 5.8 GHz. At Commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas in September 2026 the company launched the Nexus line. Nexus Observer is a portable dual-band unit with two antennas, two independent receivers each with its own processor, a built-in touchscreen, GPS, an all-metal case and a battery rated for more than 12 hours, priced at USD 1,595. UAS Sentry Nexus is the fixed-site platform, scaling from 3 to 18 independently processed antennas over one LAN or LTE connection. Fixed units sold before Nexus include the POE Enterprise and POE Dual, which have IP67 enclosures, 48 V Power over Ethernet and Type N connectors for antennas up to 150 feet away.
Every receiver reports to the UAS Sentry Cloud. The cloud service handles email and text alerts, unlimited polygon geofences, flight replay, drone classification, whitelisting of friendly drones, flight-log export and analytics. After the included access period it costs USD 295 a year. There is also a free iOS app, Android devices can connect through the Chrome browser, and an open API lets third-party command-and-control and mapping platforms use the detection data. In September 2026 Airwise Solutions announced that it was integrating UAS Sentry Nexus detection into its Airwise Nexus airspace-management and UTM platform.
Target users named by the company are prisons and correctional facilities, airports and heliports, energy substations and power plants, stadiums, schools, police and state patrol, wildfire crews, executive protection teams and homeowners. Sales go through a US reseller network that includes Vertex Unmanned Solutions, Drone Works, Drone Sky Defender, AirSight, Mile High Drone Services, AIRWORX, Hudson Valley Drones, UVT, Influential Drones, Altitude Drones and MidGaDrone, and the products are also sold on Amazon. The company has published white papers on drone contraband in correctional facilities, Remote ID band choice for drone-as-first-responder programmes, and drone detection at medical heliports.
