The Kobi Company, founded in 2015, developed Kobi, the world's first fully autonomous all-season garden robot capable of mowing lawns, removing snow, and collecting leaves. Kobi uses GPS and a suite of sensors for inch-level positioning accuracy, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data connectivity to monitor weather forecasts and operate proactively. The company launched beta versions in December 2016.
The Kobi Company was acquired by Bosch in January 2021.
