Ukrainian maker of the TerMIT modular tracked electric UGV, with 3,000+ units fielded by 50+ brigades and German co-production via QTI.
Tencore LLC is a Ukrainian defence technology company that develops and serially produces uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs) for logistics, casualty evacuation, engineering and combat-support missions. According to its corporate timeline, it was founded in February 2024 as a five-person "garage" operation. By December 2024 it had grown to more than 100 people and built about 250 TerMIT UGVs. It won its first government contract in February 2025. By December 2025 it had more than 2,500 TerMIT vehicles in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2026 the company reported more than 3,000 platforms deployed with more than 50 brigades. Maksym Vasylchenko is co-founder and CEO. Tencore holds ISO 9001:2015 and AQAP 2110:2016 certifications.
The flagship product is TerMIT (Terrain Modular Infantry Transporter), a modular, fully electric tracked UGV that has been in frontline use since 2023. The company publishes these specifications for the current TerMIT 2.0:
- Weight: 570 kg without armour and 640 kg with core armour.
- Payload: about 398 kg unarmoured or 327 kg armoured.
- Speed: up to 15 km/h on paved roads and 12 km/h off-road.
- Range: up to 40 km on four 73 Ah 20S battery packs.
- Sensors: day, night and thermal cameras and a digital communications channel.
- Protection: ballistic protection to STANAG 2920 / AEP-2920. Earlier, lighter TerMIT versions were reported at about 300 kg payload and a unit price of about USD 14,000.
TerMIT takes mission modules for different roles:
- Logistics: a 400 L cargo body, a tipper module, and a towing module rated for up to 1,500 kg towed load.
- Evacuation: an armoured, stretcher-compatible module with STANAG 2920 protection.
- Engineering: the Egoza concertina-wire deployer, which lays up to 100 m of barbed wire, and a minelayer that carries up to 20 TM-62 anti-tank mines.
- Fire support: Burya remote weapon stations for the Browning M2 machine gun and the MK19 grenade launcher, and the Khyzhak stabilized 7.62 mm module. Tencore also sells the TENCORE AI Kit, an autonomy package that offers autonomous course-keeping, operator override with automatic resume, a 180-degree turn-and-return on signal loss, configurable failsafe logic and live telemetry. The company offers the kit for integration into other UGV platforms. Customers also get on-site and remote technical support and a six-month warranty.
In July 2025 US-based MITS Capital invested USD 3.74 million in Tencore. It was the first US investment into a Ukrainian defence company under the Diia.City legal regime, and Tencore also joined the Brave1 defence cluster. In April 2026 Tencore and Germany's Quantum Systems set up Quantum Tencore Industries (QTI), a joint venture to build TerMIT in Germany. Ukrainian forces ordered 2,000 TerMIT UGVs through QTI for delivery within twelve months, with financing from the German Federal Ministry of Defence. The Ukrainian and German defence ministers signed a matching co-production agreement at the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in June 2026. Also in April 2026, Tencore and France's Shark Robotics announced a joint venture under the Build with Ukraine initiative. The company lists partner activity in Spain, Finland, Germany and France.
