System 3R International AB is a Swedish manufacturer of workholding and machine-tool automation equipment, headquartered in Vallingby, near Stockholm, with additional manufacturing in Flawil, Switzerland. Its former parent, GF Machining Solutions, now redirects visitors to a site branded United Machining Solutions, a Biel, Switzerland-based grouping of precision-machining brands that also includes Agie Charmilles, Mikron Mill, Liechti, and Step-Tec; System 3R is listed as part of that structure today.
The Macro chuck series provides workholding with repeatability as fine as 0.001 mm, and the related Dynafix palletization system carries pallets from 25 mm up to 400x400 mm so a workpiece keeps its position as it moves between machines. Automation products include the WorkPal 1 loader for single-machine cells, the WorkPartner 1+ robot cell rated for a combined gripper, pallet, and workpiece load of up to 100 kg across milling, grinding, and EDM machines, and the LD-90 and LD-250 mobile robots for transport between cells. Software including WorkShopManager and CellManager schedules and tracks jobs across connected cells.
System 3R also supplies reference pallets that mount onto additive-manufacturing build plates, keeping a part's positional reference intact through post-processing on CNC equipment. Customers span tool-and-die making, aerospace, and medical-device manufacturing, and the company states more than 100,000 customers in over 60 countries.
