The company builds the IX, GX, and P series take-out robots for injection molding machines, robot palletizers for logistics operations, gantry loaders for metal processing lines, and track motion units supplied to other system integrators; robot hand end-effectors are sold under the Einz brand. Products range from small bench-top units to ultra-large gantry systems and serve plastics processors along with food, cosmetics, and electrical appliance manufacturers.
Group companies include Kunimori Kagaku (plastic products), Startechno (machinery assembly and robot manufacturing), and Stertec (software and IoT systems); the Kuni-Stars holding company oversees subsidiaries in Shenzhen and Hangzhou, China. Star Seiki operates its Izumo plant in Shimane Prefecture alongside 18 other domestic sites, 33 locations in Asia and Oceania, 11 in the Americas, and 2 in Europe, and holds ISO 9001 certification plus 2021 Izumo Brand and 2024 Aichi Brand Company recognitions.
