ZHAOWEI designs and manufactures micro and miniature planetary gearboxes, brushed and brushless DC gear motors, stepper and coreless gear motors, spur gearboxes, encoders, and motion controllers. Its drive systems range from 3.4 mm to 38 mm in outer diameter, with output voltages of 1.5V to 24V, power ratings of 0.01W to 40W, output speeds of 5 to 2,000 rpm, reduction ratios of 5:1 to 1500:1, and torque outputs from 1 gf.cm upward. In 2014 the company developed a micro gearbox with a 3.4 mm outer diameter, among the smallest of its kind at the time. ZHAOWEI supplies customers in robotics (robot joints, fingers, heads, and actuators), medical devices (surgical instruments, infusion pumps, implants, insulin pumps, dialysis systems, and ventilators), automotive (power-adjustable components, smart mirrors, electronic parking systems), and smart-home products such as motorized blinds and door locks.
ZHAOWEI holds ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 certifications, along with IATF 16949 and QC080000 certifications.
