It is headquartered in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai and is one of China's earliest enterprises specializing in electrical connection and protection products. The company is classified as a Shanghai High-Tech Enterprise, a Shanghai 'Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive, and Novel' enterprise, and a Pudong New Area R&D institution. Weyer's primary product portfolio includes: plastic conduit and fittings (PA6, PE, PP, woven types), metal conduit and fittings (galvanized, PVC-coated, and stainless varieties), nylon cable glands (HSK series with metric, PG, and NPT thread), metal cable glands (HSM and GME series, including explosion-proof ATEX-rated types), cable drag chains (10-60C series including silent-running 18SC and 26SC types), electrical connectors, and vehicle-mounted power systems for new energy vehicles.

The product catalog exceeds 14,000 SKUs. Weyer holds over 139 patents including 7 invention patents and more than 110 utility model and software copyrights. The company serves rail transit, automotive manufacturing (including new energy vehicles), electrical machinery, aerospace, and military equipment sectors. Products are exported to Europe, Asia, South America, North America, and Oceania.

Weyer has achieved ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 (automotive quality), IEC 80079-34 (explosion-proof), ISO 14001 (environment), and ISO 45001 (occupational health) certifications. In 2015, Weyer established Weyer Precision Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. for high-voltage connectors and harnesses for new energy vehicles. In 2023, Weyer acquired Jiaxing Yunchi Intelligent Technology Co. and rebranded it as Weyer Intelligent Technology (Zhejiang) Co. Ltd., extending into EV power electronics.
