Company Overview

Rollon GmbH Lineartechnik is the German subsidiary of Rollon S.p.A., the Italy-headquartered linear motion technology group founded in 1975 in Vimercate near Milan. Rollon GmbH, established in 1991 and based in Dusseldorf, Germany, manages sales and distribution across Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, employing approximately 125 people across two locations. As part of the broader Rollon Group — now a brand within The Timken Company since 2018 — the GmbH entity handles the German-speaking market for Rollon's full range of linear motion products including linear guides (Compact Rail, Easy Rail), telescopic guides for heavy-duty applications, linear actuators (Uniline series), and complete linear motion systems for machine tools, automation, packaging, and aerospace.

The parent Rollon Group operates 14 manufacturing sites worldwide with more than 1,200 employees and has ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001 certifications across its production entities. The German entity itself has held DIN ISO 9001 certification since 1995. Rollon GmbH celebrated the group's 50th anniversary in 2025, marking five decades of linear motion engineering.
