Brantford, Ontario used-industrial-robot dealer founded September 2002; refurbishes and resells ABB, FANUC, and Yaskawa Motoman robots for integration.
Robotics Research & Integration Inc. (RRI) is a Canadian used-industrial-robot dealer and integrator headquartered in Brantford, Ontario, established in September 2002. The current entity continues a lineage of used-robot businesses run by its leadership team, tracing through JCD International Robotics Inc., founded in May 1996 to rebuild and resell used robots, and DARE Inc. (Dahan Automated Robotic Equipment Inc.), which began in late 1985, back to hydraulic and early electric robot work with ACMA Robotics starting in 1980.
RRI buys, refurbishes, certifies, and resells used industrial robots from ABB, FANUC, and Yaskawa Motoman, inspecting each unit before resale. Beyond resale, the company integrates these robots into material handling, welding, assembly, and palletizing cells, and provides maintenance and consulting services along with used spare-parts sourcing. Its largest documented project rebuilt more than 800 FANUC paint robots for General Motors across North American plants, a contract that ran until the work wound down around 2006-2007.
RRI's customer list includes General Motors and Karmax, a Magna International division in Milton, Ontario.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
Certified refurbished ABB, FANUC, and Yaskawa Motoman industrial robots with one-year warranty; suitable for material handling, welding, and palletizing.
