Roboteon
"Making Warehouse Robotics Work"
US warehouse robotics software company offering a cloud-based multi-agent orchestration platform for AMRs, robotic picking, and WMS integration.
Roboteon, Inc. is a San Jose, California-based software company founded in 2022 by Gana Govind, a logistics software entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience, previously founder and CEO of Softeon, Inc. Roboteon positions itself as a market leader in warehouse robotics software, delivering the Roboteon Fulfillment Platform (RFP) — a cloud-based, end-to-end system for integrating, managing, and orchestrating robotic fleets within warehouse and fulfillment operations.
The platform's core capability is multi-agent orchestration (MAO), which enables robots from different OEMs to interoperate on the same warehouse floor, coordinating with human workers and other automation equipment. Key modules include dynamic workflow management, AI/ML-based task optimization, robotic simulation, interoperability across heterogeneous robot fleets, and integration connectors for WMS providers such as SAP EWM and Microsoft Dynamics 365. In 2024, Roboteon's integration to SAP EWM received RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud certification from SAP ICC after rigorous testing, making it a certified partner in SAP's ecosystem.
The platform is designed to serve manufacturers, retailers/e-commerce companies, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers seeking to deploy AMRs, robotic picking systems, ASRS, and other warehouse automation. Roboteon maintains a state-of-the-market innovation lab at its San Jose headquarters at 101 Metro Drive, Suite 150, used for real-life simulation, integration testing, and customer demonstrations.
Roboteon is a member of A3 (Association for Advancing Automation) and MHI. The company has strategic partnerships with systems integrators and WMS providers, including a formal partnership with Stellium for SAP EWM-based robotics orchestration. Gana Govind serves as CEO and has assembled a team of experienced logistics and supply chain software professionals.
