Robot Advisors
"Objective, data-driven guidance for robotic automation"
US-based robotics consulting firm founded 2023 in Rye, NH; provides objective, data-driven guidance for warehouse and supply chain robotic automation selection.
Robot Advisors (operating as Robot Advisory Group, RAG) is an independent robotics consulting firm headquartered in Rye, New Hampshire, USA. Founded in 2023 by Chris Lingamfelter and partners, the firm specializes in evaluating and recommending robotic automation solutions for warehouse, distribution center, and supply chain operations.
Unlike vendors or system integrators, Robot Advisors operates as an objective third party, conducting authentic first-person research into robotics technology and providers rather than relying on vendor-supplied materials. The team employs proprietary analytical tools to perform deep operational assessments of client facilities and delivers personalized recommendations aligned to each client's business objectives and return-on-investment needs.
The firm covers six primary focus areas: Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Inventory Drones, Pick-and-Place Robots, Picking Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Transport AMRs, and Truck Unloading Robots. Robot Advisors also maintains an active presence at major industry trade shows including ProMat, Modex, Automate, LogiMAT, Pack Expo, and the Madrid Logistics Show, where it produces video tours and reviews of live robot demonstrations.
Additionally, the firm offers a 'Grow Your Team' service helping robotics companies — particularly early-stage startups — identify product-market fit and navigate go-to-market strategy. The company is a member of MHI (Material Handling Industry association). Staff includes Chris Lingamfelter (Co-Founder, Managing Partner), Mariana Gramunt (Partner, Sustainability), Michelle Hanna (Client Development Manager), and Shauna MacNeil (Senior Consultant). The company has 2–10 employees.
