Robo Robotics Inc.
US startup renting its ROBO-T1 bimanual humanoid by the hour, with remote human supervision and the Roboport fleet dashboard.
Robo Robotics Inc., which trades as ROBO, is a US robotics company built around ROBO-T1 (also called ROBO-T), a bimanual humanoid robot designed for teachable automation under the tagline "Teach Once. Deploy Everywhere." According to the official website, ROBO-T has two 6-DOF robot arms with grippers on standardized hardware, so a policy trained on one unit can be deployed to any other unit, and it occupies roughly the footprint of one person so it can be placed into existing workstations without line customization.
The company sells work rather than hardware: customers create a task, schedule the hours they want the robot to run and pay an hourly rate set by task and deployment. Robots can operate around the clock, and when a task needs judgment, such as an edge case, a jammed bin or a new item, a remote operator sees the robot's camera view and guides it; each intervention is recorded as training data. Target tasks listed by the company include pick and place, CNC machine tending, kitting, quality inspection, packaging, palletizing, soldering, small-part assembly, laboratory automation and loading or unloading stations, for consumer brands (folding, kitting and order fulfillment), manufacturers and warehouse operators. The company says its first deployments are rolling out in settings ranging from packaging lines and machine shops to hospitals, with new deployments accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The software stack consists of Roboport, a fleet management dashboard for monitoring robots, deploying policies to every arm and receiving real-time telemetry and batch updates, and an Automation Platform for fine-tuning models and policies on data recorded during work sessions or on pre-recorded task data supplied by the customer.
