Israeli robotics and tech education company; operates CoderZ virtual robotics platform and Robotec motion control; formerly Eshed Robotec (1982).
RoboGroup T.E.K. Ltd. is a publicly traded Israeli technology company incorporated in 1982, formerly known as Eshed Robotec (1982) Ltd. Headquartered in Rosh Ha'Ayin, Israel, the company operates at the intersection of robotics, motion control, and technology education. It offers products under three primary brands: Intelitek, Robotec, and CoderZ.
The Intelitek division, acquired by RoboGroup in January 2004, is a US-based provider of engineering and manufacturing technology training systems, developing hardware and e-learning systems for career and technical education (CTE) programs at secondary and post-secondary levels. Intelitek ceased active operations in May 2025. The Robotec division addresses industrial automation and motion control with engineering expertise accumulated over four decades.
The CoderZ platform, launched in May 2017, is the company's most active current offering. CoderZ is a cloud-based, experiential gaming platform for STEM education and virtual robotics competitions. It allows learners to program virtual robots using block-based coding, Java, and Python across diverse virtual arenas and curricula. The platform was initially designed to integrate with LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 and has expanded to support standalone virtual robot competitions and classroom instruction across multiple age groups. CoderZ serves the general science and technology education and home education markets globally.
RoboGroup T.E.K. Ltd. is listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (ticker: ROBO.TA) and has delisted from US OTC markets (formerly ROBOF). The company has pursued a strategy of leveraging its motion control and automation expertise into educational technology platforms, with CoderZ as its primary growth vehicle following the wind-down of Intelitek.
