PNDbotics is a Beijing-based, full-stack humanoid robotics company founded in 2023. The company develops, manufactures, and commercializes full-size biped humanoid robots, with core capabilities spanning model-based gait planning, whole-body motion control, force-controlled actuator design, and embodied intelligence software.
PNDbotics' flagship product family is the Adam humanoid robot series. The Adam Lite stands 1.60 m tall, weighs 60 kg, and features 25 degrees of freedom using quasi-direct drive (QDD) force-controlled actuators capable of up to 340 N·m torque in the legs. The Adam SP stands 1.67 m, weighs 62 kg, and offers 41–43 degrees of freedom. The Adam-U is a data-collection variant with adjustable height (1.35–1.77 m) and 31 DOF. All variants run an Intel i7-based control system over a real-time PDN network architecture and support an open-source SDK for developer customization.
In 2025, PNDbotics debuted Adam and Adam-U jointly at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai. The company has signed a commercial deployment agreement with Tianyong Engineering to integrate Adam robots into automotive production processes including parts assembly, handling, quality inspection, and hazardous task substitution. PNDbotics received seed funding in February 2026. The company's cross-domain technology stack integrates bionics, electronics, mechanical engineering, machine learning, and IoT to deliver humanoid solutions for industrial manufacturing environments.
