Osiris Agriculture is a French agtech startup founded in 2021 by Henri Desesquelles, Leon Guyard, and Rodolphe Cockenpot, all engineers with farming family backgrounds. The company is headquartered in Illies, Hauts-de-France, and operates from the EuraTechnologies innovation hub in Lille. Osiris develops the Oscar autonomous robot, designed to automate irrigation, fertigation, and crop protection for potato and vegetable producers.
The Oscar robot features RTK GPS guidance, self-powers via a turbine driven by water pressure, covers 13 hectares with just one human intervention versus six interventions with conventional reel systems, and operates at approximately 600 m/h continuously. Measured field results show 10% potato yield increase, 20% water savings, 40% electricity reduction, and 7 hours of labor saved per hectare. The robot is distributed in northern France through Verhaeghe Irrigation and is being introduced in Belgium and Germany.
Osiris is supported by BPIFrance, EU funds, ESSEC Ventures, EIT Food, France 2030, and ESA BIC. The company employs approximately 15 staff.
