ONIZIO is a French technology company specializing in automated 3D scanning solutions for creatives, makers, 3D artists, and curious minds. The company was founded by Mathieu Gasq, a 20-year veteran of computer graphics and VFX who also founded Tronatic Studio (a VFX, CGI, and design studio). ONIZIO was born from a real field need for high-quality, reliable, and easy-to-use 3D scanning.
The flagship product—ONIZIO POD—is a tabletop automated 3D scanning station that uses photogrammetry: an object is placed on a rotating base with an arc-shaped arm holding a smartphone, and image capture is fully automated once parameters are set. The POD can digitize objects up to 25 cm in height and 20 cm in diameter, suitable for small parts, figurines, props, collectibles, and product visualization. ONIZIO unveiled ONIZIO POD at CES 2026 in Las Vegas and planned a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for March 2026.
A dissolved UK entity (ONIZIO LTD, company no. 11950744, incorporated April 2019, dissolved July 2021) preceded the current French operation; the active business operates from France under the onizio.com domain.
