NEOIA is a French robotics company developing an autonomous cleaning robot for large-scale photovoltaic solar installations, operated under the Allosun Group, a French solar-panel-cleaning group whose Allowash subsidiary serves the same market. Erwan Lopin serves as president and Christophe Morales as general manager overseeing technical development.
The NEOIA robot is designed to run daily cleaning cycles on solar farms without added water, using morning dew as the cleaning medium to loosen soiling that reduces panel output. It docks at a permanent on-site charging station between missions and connects over 4G so operators can receive visit reports and push software updates remotely. NEOIA has filed patents and registered trademarks and design protections covering the robot and its docking system.
As of the company's own website in September 2026, the robot is described as reaching commercial availability in 2026, and the site lists open roles for software design and for testing and validation on a hardware prototype. The company has not published a list of countries where the system is currently in paid commercial use.
