LK ROBOTICS Inc. is a South Korean robotics company affiliated with the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI), established as the first research-institute spin-off company of KETI. The company focuses on developing safe, ergonomic, and environmentally friendly service robots designed to support human activities and improve accuracy, efficiency, and comfort at work. Its flagship product line centres on AI-powered autonomous service robots for facility management and public safety.
The LKR-SSAI system integrates autonomous robots equipped with EO/IR cameras and advanced path-finding algorithms for combined patrol, surveillance, and disinfection in multi-use public facilities. The system employs deep learning-based Person Re-ID algorithms capable of tracking up to 30 individuals per camera across up to 128 cameras with 95% recognition accuracy, and uses edge computing to minimise latency. The LKR-CP product was selected for South Korea's Defense Service Robot Demonstration Project, and the LKR-SSAI received the Encouragement Award for Disaster Safety Research and Development in the Republic of Korea.
