Leantechnik, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of LEANTECHNIK AG, a German manufacturer headquartered in Oberhausen that has built high-performance rack-and-pinion lift drives for automation technology for over 30 years. Founded in 2015 and based in Eatonton, Georgia, the U.S. operation distributes and supports the company's core lifgo and lean SL gear rack drive series, which convert rotary motion into precise, synchronized linear motion. The lifgo series uses roller-bearing pinions running on a quadrilateral rack to deliver high load capacity, exact positioning and synchronization at speed; it is offered in sizes 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3 plus the heavy-duty lifgo 5.4 rated up to 2.5 metric tons, along with double, linear, linear-double, hp and helical-geared SVZ variants.
Beyond individual gearboxes, the company designs and builds partial and complete functional assemblies under the LEANTECHNIK SYSTEMS brand, including lifting systems, positioning systems, shuttle systems, pick-and-place units, gantry systems and customized gearboxes, supplied with motors and steel frames to application specifications. Its modular drives are deployed across the automotive industry, transportation technology, mechanical engineering, packaging, and the food and chemical sectors, supporting handling, gripping and assembly automation.
