Infranor is a Swiss industrial-automation group headquartered in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, with roots dating to 1938. It operates today under the independent holding company Infranor Holding SA and reports roughly 400 employees across its operations.
The group designs CNC numerical controls, digital servo drives with fieldbus connectivity, and synchronous and asynchronous servomotors, along with mechanical components including spindles, harmonic reducers, robot joints, clamping systems, and rotary tables, plus its own line of industrial robots and cobots. Manufacturing is split across three principal sites: Cybelec in Switzerland for CNC controls, Mavilor Motors in Spain for servomotor production, and Infranor's Lourdes, France facility, which houses servo-drive design, an R&D laboratory, and in-house printed circuit board assembly using surface-mount and through-hole technology. Products serve automotive and EV manufacturing, robotics, packaging and processing, medical device production, and machine tool builders.
Infranor holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, and its systems meet CE, UL, and IEC standards along with ISO 13849 machine-safety compliance. The group runs four development and production factories and seven sales companies worldwide, supported by subsidiaries in North America and China and an international distributor network.
