German intralogistics firm whose Warehouse Execution System builds a barcode-free digital twin from LiDAR-retrofitted forklifts and runs CARRI pallet AMRs
identpro is a German intralogistics technology company founded in 2007 and based at Camp-Spich-Str. 4 in Troisdorf, North Rhine-Westphalia. The legal entity is identpro Systems GmbH, registered at Amtsgericht Siegburg under HRB 19436, with managing directors Dietmar Reinhard, Michael Wack and Dr. Martin Welp.
The core product is a Warehouse Execution System built around a real-time digital twin of the warehouse. LiDAR and IoT sensor kits are retrofitted onto a customer's existing manned forklifts so that every pallet pick-up and drop-off is located automatically, without barcode scanning. The resulting real-time locating system feeds a live map of stock and goods movements and drives a forklift guidance system that assigns and sequences transport orders.
The same platform coordinates manned trucks with automated vehicles. identpro supports the VDA 5050 interface for AGV and AMR fleet control and the omlox open locating standard, and supplies its own automated forklifts: the CARRI 1015, a pallet AMR measuring 2,060 x 1,000 x 2,040 mm with a 1,500 mm maximum lift, and the CARRI 2028, which travels at up to 2 m/s, measures 2,170 x 970 x 1,940 mm, weighs 1,150 kg and lifts to 2,844 mm. Retrofit conversion of existing industrial trucks is offered as an alternative to buying new AMRs.
The system integrates with SAP EWM, WMS and ERP platforms via REST, OData and IDoc interfaces and is deployed as SaaS or on-premise. Reported sectors are beverage, paper, food, steel and automotive, with operations in more than ten countries. The Warehouse Execution System was put through an IFOY award test in 2023.
