Fortem Technologies was founded in 2016 by Adam Robertson and Timothy Bean and is headquartered at 1855 W 500 N, Lindon, Utah 84042. The company operates a 51,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility at that location. Fortem focuses on counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS), delivering radar detection, command-and-control software, and autonomous interceptor drones that defend military, government, and civilian sites from hostile drone threats.
Fortem's product portfolio is organized around three integrated product families. The TrueView radar line provides airspace sensing: the TrueView R30 is the flagship long-range AESA radar for site-wide detection and classification of small, low-altitude aircraft, while the TrueView R20 is a compact unit designed for man-portable or embedded applications, including onboard the DroneHunter interceptor. Both radars deliver reliable 3D detection and tracking in conditions including rain, snow, and fog, and at night.
The SkyDome Manager is the command-and-control software platform that correlates data from TrueView radars, long-range cameras, RF sensors, and other inputs. Operators use SkyDome to visualize airspace threat pictures, classify drone tracks, authorize interdiction, and coordinate DroneHunter deployments across a protected site or network of sites.
The DroneHunter F700 is Fortem's autonomous interceptor drone. It uses a net-launching mechanism to physically capture hostile drones mid-flight without kinetic destruction, which preserves evidence and avoids collateral damage from falling debris. The F700 uses its onboard TrueView R20 radar for autonomous terminal homing, launches within seconds of threat authorization, and can be reloaded for back-to-back sorties in under three minutes. The DroneHunter product line has logged nearly 5,000 drone captures in operational use. In January 2026, Fortem began deliveries of the DroneHunter 5.0, designed for counter-swarm defense scenarios.
Fortem has recorded operational deployments in Ukraine, the Middle East, and East Asia. In February 2026, the US Department of Homeland Security awarded Fortem a contract to protect venues at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Also in February 2026, Fortem received an 18 million dollar, 3-year contract from the US Army. In March 2026, Fortem's DroneHunter and TrueView radar joined Lockheed Martin's Sanctum counter-UAS ecosystem. In April 2026, Lockheed Martin made a $25 million strategic investment in Fortem to accelerate production capacity.
Fortem Technologies has raised approximately $79 to $104 million in total from investors including Lockheed Martin, Boeing HorizonX, Toshiba, DCVC, AE Industrial Partners, AIM13, and Signia Venture Partners.
