Egatec A/S

EGATEC A/S is a Danish manufacturer and integrator of end-of-line packaging automation based in Odense, Denmark. Founded in 2003, the company designs, builds, and tests packing machines, palletizers, and handling equipment in-house at its Odense facility and combines them with industrial robots, cobots, and vision systems into complete lines.

Primary packaging is covered by the ATHENA 700 and the PHANTOM series (PHANTOM 90, 150, B1, HYBRID, and HYBRID BM). Secondary packaging machines include the EGApacker, the EGAwrap-around case packer, a robot packer, and case packers in the BD, PC, TV, PDS, and CP series, plus the EGAlog and blister packaging equipment. End-of-line equipment comprises the EGA PT5 palletizer, cobot and robot palletizers, the EGApicker, case erectors, sealers, and conveyors. Industrial robots come from Comau and collaborative arms from Kassow Robots; Cassioli and RPS are further partners. Customers span food and beverage, non-food consumer goods, metal, building materials, mattress production, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The company reports more than 400 automation solutions delivered in Denmark and abroad since 2003; published references include Arla Foods, Dan-Foam, Rynkeby, Fertin Pharma, and Mac Baren, and EGATEC belongs to the Odense Robotics cluster.
