Company Overview

Draganfly Inc. is the world's oldest commercial drone manufacturer, founded in 1998 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, by Cameron Chell, Zenon Dragan, and Christine Dragan. The company is publicly traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker DPRO, as well as on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE), having gone public on the CSE in 2019 and listing on NASDAQ in 2021. With more than 25 years of continuous operation, Draganfly operates as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and technology integrator, producing multi-rotor UAVs, fixed-wing drones, sensors, software, and ground robotics systems.

The company holds a series of industry firsts: it made the first commercial quadcopter drone sale, was the first drone manufacturer to save a human life (during a search and rescue mission in 2013), and was the first company to have multiple UAV systems declared Transport Canada compliant in 2016. Draganfly's current product lineup includes the Soten tactical UAV, the Apex mapping and inspection drone, the Commander 3XL multi-mission drone with hybrid propulsion options, the Starling X.2 compact reconnaissance UAV, the Flex FPV system, and a Heavy Lift Drone. The company also offers the Precision Delivery System (PDS) for drone-based cargo delivery, as well as a broad portfolio of payloads and sensors.

Applications served include agriculture (crop monitoring, spray mapping), military and government (reconnaissance, BVLOS surveillance, Ukraine defense support), public safety (search and rescue, emergency response), environmental and energy (oil and gas inspection, mining), public health (vital sign screening), and humanitarian operations (landmine detection, medical response). Draganfly also provides custom engineering services and drone flight services for mapping, surveying, and data collection. The company opened a U.S. facility in Tampa, Florida in March 2025 to support American defense and government customers.

Corporate headquarters remain at 235 103rd St E, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, with contact reachable at [email protected] and +1-800-979-9794.
