COMING Computer Engineering d.o.o. is a Serbian IT company headquartered in Belgrade that provides IT operations management, application development, cloud and infrastructure services, managed services and enterprise software. Through its AgAR project it has developed a modular multipurpose robotic platform for agriculture, built in collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Nis and funded with EU support. Supporters of AgAR include the Innovation Fund of Serbia and the EU Delegation to Serbia.
AgAR is a battery-electric wheeled robot weighing 680 kg with a 600 kg payload. It is powered by a 48 V LiFePO4 battery (230 Ah, 2,000 charge cycles) and delivers 12 kW nominal drive power plus a 7.5 kW power take-off, with peaks of 30 kW for 60 seconds and 18.75 kW on the PTO. Typical working time is 8 hours and up to 12 hours, top speed is 1.6-1.85 m/s depending on wheel size, and it handles 25-degree inclines. Ground clearance is adjustable from 220 to 810 mm, track width is 1.25 m and adjustable, and the robot is rated IPX4 for -10 to +40 C operation. Software modules cover GPS path following on predefined multi-point routes, an autonomy add-on with dynamic path planning, and teleoperation with camera live-stream and sensor data. Safety and perception use RTK-GPS, LiDAR, radar, a stereo camera and ultrasonic sensors, together with stop buttons and a stop bumper. Intended uses include crop monitoring, towing, sowing, watering, pruning, picking, transport and manure or fertiliser spreading.
