"The next level in automated agriculture"
Krone-Lemken cooperation project in Spelle, Germany developing a driverless traction unit plus implement to replace the tractor driver, using TIM and ISOBUS.
Combined Powers is a cooperation between two German family-owned agricultural machinery manufacturers, Maschinenfabrik Bernard Krone and LEMKEN, to develop autonomous field machinery for arable and grassland farming. The project is presented by Maschinenfabrik Bernard Krone GmbH & Co. KG in Spelle, Lower Saxony, on behalf of the cooperation with LEMKEN GmbH & Co. KG.
The system is an autonomous processing unit made up of a driverless traction unit and a working implement, designed to carry out tasks that today require a tractor driver. Sensors monitor the implement and analyse the work pattern so that irregularities are detected early and settings are adjusted automatically, while a user interface handles job planning and continuous process monitoring. For travel on public roads the units are towed by a conventional tractor via a drawbar. The partners promote uniform machine data communication based on the TIM (Tractor Implement Management) and ISOBUS standards. A promotional video for the project was released in November 2025.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
