Capra Robotics ApS is a Danish deep-tech company founded in 2017 and headquartered in Viby J, Aarhus, Denmark. Built on a patented kinematic wheel frame invented by co-founder Mads Bendt, the company delivers end-to-end autonomous mobile robot (AMR) solutions for inspection, logistics, and urban maintenance. Its flagship platform, the Capra Hircus / Capra 500, navigates demanding indoor and outdoor terrain and can tow payloads up to 500 kg.
Solutions include Capra Scout (substation inspection, perimeter control), Capra Carrier (inter-logistics, food-processing logistics), and Capra Urban (cigarette removal, de-icing). Robots are designed and manufactured in Europe to meet strict safety and reliability standards. The company raised EUR 11.3M in seed funding in January 2025 and has deployed solutions on four continents.
Awards include Odense Robotics Company of the Year 2022, Deutsche Telekom Bestform IoT Award 2023, and The Robot Report RBR50 Innovation Award 2024.
